Library Sessions

Leanna sent me the info you need to know for your library sessions. Please register soon.

The Advanced Writing Library instruction program has 2 requirements:

1. Complete the Advanced Research Tutorial and Assignment (before attending the Library Session—requirement #2). The Research Tutorial has been specially tailored for Advanced Writing students and teaches important skills in preparation for the Library Session. Students can access the tutorial through this link or through Learning Suite: http://net.lib.byu.edu/tutorial/art/
2. Attend a Library Session.

Here are the particular dates to keep in mind about Library Sessions:

• Today through June 26, students will fill out the online Advanced Writing Registration Survey identifying their available times to attend. https://lib.byu.edu/ORS/ors_stu_reservations.php
• By June 29, each student who filled out the survey will receive an email telling them what library session they have been assigned to attend.
• Beginning July 2, students who did not fill out the survey can register for a session; others can change their reservation.
• Students complete the Research Tutorial & Assignment before attending their assigned session.
• Students attend Workshops from July 2 - July 13. Workshops are 50 minutes long.
