How to Write a Memo
Sorry.
I planned to discuss the memo examples you brought to class today, and I’ve left you up a creek without a textbook. But part of what I want to show you is that, thanks to the internet, some types of textbooks are unnecessary.
As far as memos go, Wikipedia will tell you the history. (Basically it’s the printed version of an email.)
Or check Google for how to format one. (It’s a plain style—less is more on this one.)
Let me know if you have any questions.
Travis
P.S. Looks like stet is a whole word in Latin, rather than an abbreviation, and it means “let it stand.”
